Challenge 5: Exploration

This Exploration Challenge is quite simple. Indeed, you may have even entered it on trips throughout your life without even knowing it, honing and perfecting your skills ready for the right moment. You need wait no more – that moment is now!

We want to see where you have taken Marmite XO on your travels. Perhaps you’ve canoed with our condiment in Canada, yodelled with Yeast Extract in Yarmouth or raved with Riboflavin at the Reichstag. You may have taken it to the beach for a post dip snack or to the peak of the highest mountains so you can savour the view with our Sticky Mistress in hand. Who knows, you might just take it around your home town as a trusty companion should you ever get peckish for a bite of the dark stuff.

Kate Arkless Gray is our Marmarati judge for this task and she has set the barrier rather high – indeed, so high it threatens to burst through into Space! Rumours have it she is busy preparing for the ultimate Marmarati mission – to take Marmite to the moon –  at an International Space University in Florida, home to NASA (and excellent Orange juice for washing down morning crumpets). One final point before you proceed. From the largest sovereign nation states to the smallest island archipelagos there are a number of laws in place to prevent unwanted substances crossing international borders – amazingly, there are nations that will not allow Marmite to grace their soil.
