Challenge 2: Crafts

When it was decreed that there would be a challenge devoted to the exquisite realm of crafts we contacted our finest friend in many hours of need – the one and only Miss Cakehead. Like many other of our Judges she has been a shining light in the Marmarati and has continued this outstanding streak for this most intricate of trials…indeed, so intricate that she decided contact another Marmarati member to fuse together the finest creative partnership ever created. A marriage of minds so beautiful it almost rivals the combination of toast and Marmite, no less!

As such our second Judge for this challenge is Jacqui Pearce – a formidable force in the crafts arena and, some say, the undisputed ‘Queen of the Supersize Stitch’. After much discussion over cake and crumpets a decision was made to re-imagine the magnificent orb that is the Marmite XO jar using the skills Jacqui has honed for many years, and the result below is more than spectacular! Perhaps one day we will see similar cushions fill parlours and grace throne-like divans across the country…or perhaps you, yes you, can submit something below to rival its majesty?
